Founded: April 2010
Main people: Principally myself, Elisa Pardini, though I do collaborate with friends and former colleagues from time to time. I am also looking for an intern to help me.
Where have you come from? I worked for Massimiliano Fuksas in Rome, then I moved to London to work for Foster + Partners.
What work do you have and what projects are you looking for? I’ve begun with clients that I found here in London. I’m now working on some refurbishments, two of them with extensions, one in Chelsea and one in north London. I am designing a restaurant in Shoreditch in a listed building and a pop-up shop close to Covent Garden which opens on 17 June. But I am also aiming to win some competitions.
What are your ambitions? I believe architecture has an important role, not only as a mirror of society, but also in the way it interacts with it. My aim is to design a public building: a museum, a public library, a square – spaces where people can enjoy themselves outside of a working or living environment. For that I would like to design a project that will care about the environment and the society around it.
How optimistic are you? Well, I am an optimistic person. The hard part is to make the decision and start. Then, if you smile at life, life smiles back at you.
