In my career, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a juror for several prestigious design and architecture competitions; from the A’ Design Awards to other internationally recognised platforms. Each experience has been deeply rewarding, but this year, judging the Archello Awards 2025 feels particularly meaningful.
This opportunity extends beyond personal recognition; it reflects Pardini Hall Architecture’s ongoing commitment to excellence, innovation, and the broader dialogue that continues to shape contemporary global design.
Serving on the Archello Awards jury offers a rare perspective on the evolving edge of architecture today. In an era when sustainability, digital innovation, and social purpose are central to design, my focus extends beyond aesthetics. I am drawn to projects that redefine how we live and interact; those that set new benchmarks for integrity, ingenuity, and human impact within the built environment.
translating insight into practice
I will be dedicating my time to reviewing hundreds of submissions from across the world, with a particular interest in the categories that align most closely with the philosophy of our studio: projects that embody balance between context, meticulous detailing, and meaningful functionality.
At Pardini Hall Architecture, we believe that architecture is a living discipline; one that evolves through observation, critique, and collaboration. My participation in international juries provides an invaluable opportunity to translate global insight into local practice.
my evaluating perspective
When reviewing a project, I look first for clarity, a seamless dialogue between the building and its surroundings. I value precision in detailing and honesty in material expression. Yet beyond these fundamentals, I am always searching for architecture that moves people: spaces that enhance wellbeing, elevate emotion, and leave a lasting impression.
Architecture has the power to shape behaviour and reflect the values of the societies we build. For me, the most successful projects are those that combine technical mastery with a deep sense of humanity.
