The office is located in Clerkenwell, London. The building has been studios since 1996 and before that the whole building was a printing works. At one time I should imagine it was stables for horses. Now it accommodates 5 different studios.
The one occupied and refurbished by Pardini Hall (formerly elips design) is around 40 sq m and has a small bathroom and kitchen, all in one level.
Being at ground floor got access on the shared courtyard.
We decided to leave the existing glass door to have more natural light coming inside helped by the added skylight.
The flooring is green rubber on the service areas, and is ash in the main area. The light wood floor wants to emphasise the light in the room.
The open plan again was a choice dictated to enjoy the natural light in every part.
The meeting area has a brushed stainless steel wall for the pin up and a green wall to give a touch of colour to the room.
