Contemporary Design Meets Regional Tradition
In the centre of Forte dei Marmi, Pardini Hall Architecture has transformed a compact studio into a contemporary coastal residence that reflects both the character of its location and the refined simplicity of modern living.
Carrara marble, the emblematic stone of Tuscany, is reinterpreted with a contemporary gesture. Cut into slender planks and laid in a parquet pattern, the flooring creates a subtle rhythm that brings warmth and movement to the interior while celebrating local heritage.
The apartment’s layout was carefully reconfigured into distinct yet connected zones. A wall-mounted kitchen runs along one edge of the space, opening into a dining area and a bright living zone with sofa and TV. Scandinavian furniture, pale timber elements, and discreet lighting enhance the clarity of the design, creating a home that feels welcoming, ordered, and calm.
The bedroom is defined by bespoke cabinetry that conceals practical functions, including a laundry unit, ensuring both storage and visual harmony. In the bathroom, a custom marble shower tray is paired with turquoise zellige tiles, their handmade surface echoing the tones of the nearby sea and reinforcing the coastal spirit of the home.
This Forte dei Marmi apartment renovation demonstrates Pardini Hall Architecture’s ability to transform small-scale residences into elegant, functional, and distinctive spaces, where contemporary design meets regional tradition.
